It handles account and business information you enter, stores some data on your device, and sends information to Tindali's backend when you use account, cloud, or other online features. Google and other service providers may process information needed for sign-in, notifications, app distribution, and billing.
01 About this policy
This policy applies to the Tindali mobile app and this website's feedback form. Tindali provides tools for point of sale, inventory, transactions, receipts, and business reporting. Some features, including account access and cloud sync, communicate with online services.
02 Information Tindali handles
- Account information: details you provide to register or use your account, such as your name, username, email address, phone number, and sign-in information.
- Store and business records: information you add or manage in Tindali, such as store details, products, stock, transactions, expenses, receipts, and team members.
- Images and scans: photos or files you choose to capture or upload for receipt scanning, product or store images, and related features. Scanned text may be used to populate business records.
- Device and feature information: settings and identifiers needed for app features, such as cloud sync, receipt-scanner pairing, and push notifications.
- Subscription information: Google Play purchase information and purchase tokens used by the backend to verify Premium access and associate it with your Tindali account. Full payment-card details are handled by Google Play, not Tindali.
- Feedback: the topic and message you submit, any name or reply email you choose to provide, and the time submitted. Website hosting may also keep standard technical logs.
You can choose whether to use optional features and provide optional information. The app may need camera, photo, or notification permissions for the features you enable.
03 How information is used
Tindali uses information to operate your account and stores, maintain your products and inventory, record sales and expenses, sync data when enabled, process receipt scans, provide reports, deliver notifications you enable, and respond to support requests.
Camera and image access is used for the scan or image feature you request. Do not upload information that you do not have the right to store or share, including customers' personal or payment details unless necessary and lawful for your business.
04 Storage, retention & your control
Tindali keeps app data on your device to support app use and offline workflows. When you sign in and use online services, account and business data may be transmitted to and stored by the Tindali backend. Cloud Sync settings control supported synchronization features.
- You can edit or remove many records in the app.
- Contact Tindali Support to ask about access to or deletion of account information stored by the online service.
- Uninstalling the app may remove local app data, but does not necessarily delete information already synced to the backend.
Information is retained for as long as needed to provide and support the service, meet operational needs, and comply with applicable requirements. Retention can vary by data type and feature. Contact us for questions about a specific record or deletion request.
Feedback is stored by the website service and may generate an email notification to the support team. The feedback form does not store your IP address in its feedback records, though the hosting provider may keep separate server logs. You can request deletion by contacting basesuit@gmail.com.
05 Service providers and sharing
Tindali uses service providers to host its backend and support app features. Information may be processed by those providers only as needed to operate the services, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Google services may be involved when you choose Google sign-in, receive push notifications, install Tindali, or make a Google Play purchase. Receipt-scanner pairing may use Firebase services. These providers handle information under their own policies.
If Cloud Sync or another online feature is enabled, relevant account and business data is sent to the Tindali backend to provide that feature. Store owners and authorized team members may access business information according to their account roles and permissions.
We do not publish your business records. We may disclose information if needed to operate the service, respond to a valid legal request, protect users or the service, or with your direction.
06 Google Play subscriptions
Premium is offered as a recurring subscription through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles checkout, payment methods, renewals, and cancellation. The app sends the purchase token to the Tindali backend, which verifies the subscription with Google Play and links the entitlement to your authenticated Tindali owner account.
The backend stores an encrypted purchase token and a hash used for lookup and ownership checks. Tindali does not receive your full payment-card details. Google Play processes purchase and account information under Google’s Privacy Policy.
07 Security
Tindali uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including encrypted network connections and encryption for stored subscription tokens. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device and app updated, use a strong unique password, and restrict access to your account.
08 Children’s privacy
Tindali is a business-management service and is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Tindali, contact us using the details below.
09 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Tindali's features or practices change. The latest version and its effective date will be published on this page.
